Introduction to Low Back Pain: Causes and Movement-based Solutions

Course Description:

Learn the definition and epidemiology of low back pain, including risk factors. The genesis of back problems from a basic biomechanical view is discussed as well as joint distortion, muscle imbalance, and pain-causing movement patterns (the Cumulative Injury Cycle). Principles of self-massage, lengthening techniques, and corrective exercise are presented along with Dr. Farmer’s patent-pending strategy for unique movement-based solutions. The key role of Pain, the elements of Dr. Farmer's Good Posture, and Good Posture Walking are highlighted.

How does one successfully relieve pain and restore fitness in those with LBP?
