As things are rapidly changing with COVID-19, we want to give a brief update on how Lloyd Central Compounding Pharmacy is adjusting in response to community needs and CDC recommendations. First and foremost, we want to ensure you and your patients that Lloyd will not be closing.
We are open, and working hard to ensure you have your medication!
Our top priority is to protect our patients’ and employees’ health and safety, so we are asking all patients who are able to have their prescriptions shipped.
As a last resort we are offering curbside pick up for emergencies and special circumstances during our regular business hours Monday through Friday 9am to 7pm . We will be temporarily closed on Saturdays.
Patients will be asked for their credit card information over the phone for pre-payment prior to pick up. This will enable a faster transaction with no physical interactions between people or devices. In addition, we will temporarily no longer be accepting cash, and are eliminating interactions with physical devices as part of our checkout procedure. Patients that need to wait for their prescription to be ready will be politely asked to wait in their car to increase social distancing.
We do not anticipate any compounded medication shortages at this time. We have been proactively managing our inventory so that we can meet the increasing volume of orders, and we are ahead of all shortages that the industry is currently experiencing.
As it seems there are new updates every day, we will work to keep everyone on the same page should any further changes be necessary. Please contact us directly at 503-281-4161 if you have any questions or concerns. Feel free to email our pharmacy education team, Chantz@LCRX.com, to even just say hi or get to know the amazing world of compounding as we wait for this isolating time to pass. We are here for you! We wish you all the best safety and health as we continue to move forward through this trying time.
