Are you an OANP member who is interested in working more with OANP, but aren’t sure how? We have some volunteer position vacancies that we are looking to fill! If you are interested in getting more experience in any of these areas, or you already have experience, consider volunteering! It’s a fun, driven group of people and we accomplish a lot on behalf of NDs all over the state!
The OANP has a volunteer position available to serve on the Membership Committee. The role of the membership committee is to promote membership growth, assist in identifying new member benefits, and to develop strategies for member retention and recruitment. Expected time commitment is 1-2 hours a month. If you are interested, please email email@example.com.
Legislative Key Contacts Task Force – We need YOU!
As part of our legislative strategic plan, we are continuing to put together a key contact task force to help build relationships with all 90 legislators in Oregon. We are hoping to connect with NDs in all of the legislative districts who are interested in developing and cultivating relationships, attending town halls in your districts, and meeting your legislators for coffee or a tour of your clinic a few times a year. This type of relationship development will help the success of all future legislative efforts. If you are interested, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Oregon POLST Coalition:
The Oregon POLST (portable orders for life sustaining treatment) Coalition is comprised of valued and committed representatives from stakeholder organizations and agencies. OANP is looking for an ND that is interested in representing the profession on this committee. Expected time commitment is 2-3 hours a month. If you are interested, please email email@example.com.
Diversity and Inclusion Committee:
This committee is working to help the community make quick strides to become more inclusive of all. Upcoming tasks are to revisit the OANP mission, bylaws, and operations. This group is working on short and long-term goals in relation to helping support our entire community, so that NDs are given the tools that they need to be inclusive, effective leaders. If you are interested, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
