Oregon Wildfires

To our OANP members and colleagues:

The recent wildfires in Oregon come at a time when so many are already facing concerns around health and career due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We know that all of our colleagues are emotionally impacted by this devastation, and many are physically impacted at work and at home. On behalf of the Oregon Association of Naturopathic Physicians, we offer sympathy to all of you contending with these new challenges.

More than ever, this is a time to stay united and support one another. Our community is a resilient one, and just as we have worked together in the face of COVID-19, so will we assist our members and colleagues through this. If you or those you know are in need of guidance while wildfire recovery is underway, please contact us at the OANP so that we can provide resources wherever possible.

If you or your loved ones are in need of immediate support for emotional distress at this time, please consider reaching out to one of the following:

The Oregon Behavioral Health Support Line 1-800-923-HELP
Free, confidential

SAMHSA’s Disaster Distress Helpline 1-800-985-5990
