Are you interested in speaking at OANP events or for a professional development webinar?
OANP lectures and conferences provide high-quality education for naturopathic physicians, medical doctors, nurses, acupuncturists, and massage therapists. Our courses focus on current and emerging issues in the area of naturopathic medicine and healthcare. We also invite speakers with experience in topics of practice management, finance, marketing and more to share their expertise in non-CE related professional development realms.
Speakers may submit as many proposals as they would like at any time.
Speaking Opportunities:
OANP MedTalk ND Lecture Series
The OANP MedTalk ND Lecture Series is a bi-monthly event that occurs the 4th Tuesday of February, April, June, August, and the 3rd Tuesday in November. These talks are 2-hour live webinar events 6:00-8:30 pm PST.
OANP Annual Conference
The OANP Annual Conference takes place each year in Portland, Oregon. The event focuses on pharmaceutical management and ethical considerations for a multitude of practitioner subject matter. It draws over 275 attendees, including students, residents, ND physicians, nurses, acupuncturists, and exhibitors.
The Annual Conference focuses on the following two CE requirements:
- All things related to Pharmacy, Pharmacology, and the Prescribing of Pharmaceuticals;
- Ethics generally.
Annual Conference lectures MUST QUALIFY for Pharmacy or Ethics CE. The most well-received lectures combine technical aspects of pharmacy prescribing with natural alternatives or methods to support the body during use of pharmaceuticals.
OANP Spring Seminar
OANP Spring Seminar takes place each year as a virtual event. The event focuses on a different theme every year and offers up to 10 CE (General and Specialty).
OANP Webinar-Only Courses
The OANP offers high-quality, progressive webinar lectures and continuing education. Online courses are usually single-topic webinars from highly recognized speakers or covering critical new knowledge areas.
Non-CE Professional Development (Webinar-Only Courses)
The OANP offers high-quality professional development for our NDs to further their skills and knowledge in practice management, finance, marketing, and more. Online courses are usually single-topic webinars.
Review Procedures
Applications are peer-reviewed quarterly by a committee comprised of naturopathic physicians with experience in education. Abstracts for presentations are accepted based on topic relevance, timeliness, and expertise of the speakers. Abstracts on all naturopathic medicine related topics are welcome. |
