Get Involved with ND Advocacy Work |
Protecting our independent licensing board is critical to Oregon ND’s ability to maintain our licenses and current full scope of practice. Here are ways YOU can get involved and help advocate for your profession! 1. Volunteer to be a Key Contact Volunteer to be a key contact and work with our Legislative & Advocacy Committee and lobbyist to meet with policymakers and help them understand why we need pay parity. Ask your patients and MD/DO/NP colleagues for letters of support. OANP's Legislative & Advocacy Committee continues to protect Oregon ND's right to practice by strengthening licensure laws and increasing scope of practice. The purpose of the Legislative & Advocacy Committee is to coordinate the legislative goals of the Association, promote legislation that advances naturopathic medicine and the profession, and prepare and give testimony to public bodies as needed. »Contact us to get involved!2.
